Community Protection Notice Warning issued in Benwick

Police issued a Community Protection Notice Warning in Benwick on Tuesday following a number of complaints against a resident since the start of the year.

The warning is issued under the Anti Social Behaviour And Policing Act 2014 and gives the person the opportunity to amend their behaviour by following a set of conditions.

Formal sanctions will follow if the community is affected further.

A police spokesman said: "Should you have concerns or wish to make us aware about anything happening in your community then please do contact us on 101 or by using the online reporting system on our website."
