Concerns for a man's welfare prompt emergency response in Wisbech




Emergency services including an air ambulance are currently attending an on-going incident in Wisbech.

The air ambulance has reportedly landed on land by the College of West Anglia Campus, and police and paramedics are believed to be attending an incident close to Elizabeth Terrace.

A spokesman for the Magpas Air Ambulance service said: “I can confirm that it’s definitely the Magpas medical team and we called to a serious medical emergency in Wisbech and they landed at 11.43am.”

The police spokesman said: “We were called just before 11.30am today (6) to reports of concern for the welfare of a man in Wisbech.

“Officers, ambulance and air ambulance are currently on scene and dealing.”
