The number of patients discharged from Lynn's Queen Elizabeth Hospital after recovering from coronavirus has now passed 150.

The milestone was reported this afternoon, after the daily update from NHS England showed no further deaths have been confirmed.

And that total equates to nearly half of all the patients who have been treated at the QEH for the infection.

A social media post from the hospital a short time ago said: "We have now been able to discharge 152 patients who had previously tested positive for COVID-19.

"Thank you to staff across #TeamQEH for your hard work, skill, compassion and dedication to delivering the best care for all our patients."

Latest figures show 323 patients have tested positive for the coronavirus at the QEH, of which 94 are known to have died.
