Court date for Wisbech crash drink driver
A driver who crashed his car into a ditch and then left the scene has a date with magistrates for a host of driving offences.
The incident happened on Saturday night in Cromwell Road, Wisbech.
Police arrived to find the unoccupied car in a ditch, but officers managed to trace the occupants nearby.
A 20-year-old man was arrested and later charged with drink driving, driving without a licence, and driving without insurance, and is due to appear in court next month.
Posting to their Facebook page Fenland police thanked a member of the public who tipped them off.
