Covid-19 update: Another patient dies at King's Lynn hospital

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Lynn today announced another patient has died after testing positive for coronavirus.
On Twitter, Caroline Shaw, chief executive of the hospital trust, said: “The death of one of our patients who had COVID-19 has been confirmed today – a man in his 80s. Our thoughts and condolences are with his family at this sad time.”
The death takes the number of patients who have died at the QEH while diagnosed with Covid-19 as 144.
NHS England today said that across the country there were 146 deaths recorded of people who tested positive for Covid-19.
The latest figures bring the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 26,529. The total number of UK deaths is 38,161
