He was football mad and was a member of the March Park Rangers U9s team, which is managed by Paul Galley.

March Park Rangers has since been taken over by March Town Youth and they have already held fundraising events in memory of Kaleb, who was described as fun loving boy.

Lindsey Galley, Paul's wife, who has helped organise event in memory of Kaleb explained: "The cup was open to any youth side in the Hunts Under 9s League and saw teams slowly knocked out in rounds, just like in the FA Cup.

"Unfortunately Kaleb's team was knocked out in the earlier stages, but the final was between Needingworth Colts and Great Paxton Panthers with the Needingworth team winning."

Kaleb's proud mum Claire Wesley and his grandmother Julie Dickinson both attended the final and were on hand to present both the trophy with his name on and medals to the participating teams. They also presented the fair play trophy to Brampton Spartans.

Lindsey said: "The day meant so much to Claire and Julie, to have Kaleb remembered in such a way was just such a comfort to them.

"A huge thanks for all the hard work from everyone involved and congratulations to Needingworth Colts U9s on being the first recipient of Kaleb’s Cup.

"Keeping Kaleb’s memory alive is so important to his family and to us, so we just want to share this tribute to him with everyone who has given their support, it means the world."
