Deer rescue in Long Sutton

A specialist animal rescue team was called out this morning (Saturday) after a deer got stuck in some railings.

The incident happened on Bull Lane in Long Sutton and the team from Sleaford Firefighters attended at 7.58am, along with a crew from Spalding.

Crews used hydraulic spreaders to spread the railings in order to release the deer.
