Desperate plea to find puppy stolen from Emneth area

“Make him too hot to handle” is the desperate plea of the owner of a stolen puppy as she appeals for help in finding him.

Lindsay Morgan, a dog breeder in the Emneth area, has posted her plea on Facebook following the theft of a 14-week-old cocker spaniel.

He is described as orange roan and was taken from a secure area where he was playing with two other puppies sometime yesterday.

Lindsay, who has the DNA profile of both the puppy’s parents which will help identify him when he is found, believes someone jumped part of a fence and grabbed the puppy as she believes there is no way he could have escaped by himself.

She said: “ I can’t bare to think how he’s being treated I need him home safe.”

Lindsay added that he is a very chunky puppy weighing around 9kg, he has also recently had surgery and he is microchipped.

Dozens of people have rallied to her appeal and sent messages of support and Lindsay said: “No news as yet thank you to every single person that has shared please keep sharing far and wide.

“Please make him too hot to handle.”

A Norfolk Police spokesperson said: “We received the report this morning and it is being processed by our teams.

“It will be triaged like every report that comes into our control room and officers will contact the victim in due course.”
