A dog believed to be an XL bully seized after attacking woman in Terrington St John

A dog has been seized following an attack this morning.
Police were called to reports of an incident involving a dog earlier today.
A woman in her 50s had been walking her dog at 9.34am along Main Road, in Terrington St John, when she was attacked by another dog that had appeared from a nearby property.
She received several lacerations to her left arm and had to be taken by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.
A dog, believed to be an XL Bully type, was seized under the Dangerous Dogs Act.
