Police and fire crews called after driver ends up in ditch following crash on Wisbech Road, West Walton

A driver managed to exit their vehicle on their own despite ending up in a ditch after a crash.

Police and fire services were called to a single vehicle collision at Church End, West Walton last night (Tuesday) just before 7.30pm.

The vehicle had left the road and entered a ditch - but the driver was not injured, and was able to self-release.

Fire crews from West Walton and Wisbech attended, with a logged report saying that "the scene was made safe".

Their stop message came at 7.47pm.
