One person was taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash in a village.

Police were called to Walton Highway at 4.32pm on Saturday following reports of a two-vehicle collision.

Emergency services attended the scene, including paramedics.

A woman was taken to hospital as a precaution.

The second vehicle failed to stop at the collision and enquiries are ongoing to locate the driver.

The road reopened at 5.01pm.
