Drivers taken to King’s Lynn hospital after crash in Walpole St Peter




A driver was rushed to hospital after crashing on a village road just after midnight.

Norfolk fire crews were called to the single-vehicle collision at 12.31am this morning, with a Ford Fiesta having left the highway on Chalf Road in Walpole St Peter – close to the junction with Church Road.

One appliance from West Walton was sent, with firefighters providing services on scene. Their stop message was received at 1:11am.

Police had also been called at 12.42am, with officers attending the scene.

The male driver and only occupant of the car was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Lynn by ambulance for checks. The nature and seriousness of his injuries is not known.
