Driver taken to hospital after two-vehicle collision between Manea and Wimblington




A road was closed and a driver taken to hospital after a two-vehicle collision between Manea and Wimblington yesterday.

Emergency Services were called to the Boots Bridge junction with the Sixteen Foot at 2.29pm after reports of the accident.

Officers arrived to find one vehicle on its side and one on top of the crash barrier. One driver was taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital in Huntingdon with minor injuries.

The road was closed for a short time while the vehicles were recovered and Cambridgeshire Highways made the barrier safe.
