Funeral directors' Easter eggs appeal is a sweet treat for Wisbech charity

Bailey and West Funeral Directors' first Easter egg appeal since Covid collected more than 130 seasonal sweet treats for a Wisbech charity.

The firm chose to donate the eggs to the Ferry Project which helps homeless people in Fenland.

Charlotte Walford, funeral arranger, said: "With the support of my colleagues and the local community we have managed to collect 137 Easter eggs so a big thank you to everyone that has helped support this year’s Easter appeal."

She said that the project representatives were amazed at the number of eggs and knew that the families who received them would be ecstatic.
