Wisbech Tennis Club funds have been boosted by a £500 donation from Elgoods Brewery.

Club chairman Sue Beel received the cheque from the brewery’s managing director Belinda Sutton at the club’s new artificial courts, near the Hudson Leisure Centre. The money was raised during the beer festival which was held at the brewery in the summer. During the past eight weeks the club has undergone a transformation from five grass courts, to two artificial clay courts with flood lighting for all year round play, to compliment their existing two grass courts. The courts are due to open in the New Year and details of how to join can be found onw: wisbechtennisclub.org.uk or email wtcmembership@hotmail.co.uk
