Emergency services called to motorcycle crash in Wisbech this morning – Weasenham Lane closed at Algores Way junction

Emergency services have been dealing with a serious accident in Weasenham Lane, Wisbech this morning.

The accident reportedly happened just before 6.30am and involved a motorcyclist and a car and happened near the junction with Algores Way.

Reports on social media suggest that an air ambulance was also called to the scene.

A police spokesperson said: “We were called at 6.28am today with reports of a collision involving a car and a motorcycle in Weasenham Lane, Wisbech.

“Emergency services attended the scene, and the motorcyclist was taken to hospital for treatment. Further details of injuries are unclear.

“The road has been closed at junction with Algores Way.”
