Emneth Methodist Chapel is appealing for donations of red car spray paint for a poppy project




A village church has put out an SOS for donations of red car spray paint to help with a project for Remembrance Sunday.

Emneth Methodist Chapel are creating a display for the community to go both inside and outside the building.
Volunteers are busy turning old plastic bottles into beautiful poppies that are already going up inside the chapel.
But now they are appealing for donations of red car paint.

One of those taking part, Tracy Mclaughlin said: "We have already made quuite a few and have put them up in the chapel for people to enjoy, but we are desperate for red car spray paint to be able to make the rest of the poppies. We are hoping Citizen readers will be able to help.

"It has been a fantastic community effort so far and I want to keep it going."
Donations can be made via the chapel.
