Fenland firm is mistaken for rapper in fun Radio 1 game

An accountancy firm found itself being mentioned on the hugely popular Scott Mills Radio 1 show on Monday as the DJ and fellow presenter Jordan North played the Whoo Game.

The aim of the game was for the pair to decide whether names read out were accountancy firms or rappers.

When it came to Moore Thompson, the accountancy firm which has offices across the area including in Wisbech, Scott declared "it's a hard one" before both he and Jordan, who appeared on I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here in 2020, incorrectly guessed 'rapper'.

The firm were quick to plug their short burst of fame on national radio tweeting about the game and asking followers if they thought there was an opening in the market for Moore Thompson the rapper.

You can listen to the game on BBC Sounds and the local mention can be found at around 2:18:30 in the show.
