Fenland man on rape charge

A Wisbech man has been sent to crown court on a rape charge.

Selvin McDonald, 29, is accused of committing the offence on a woman in the King’s Lynn area on or before June 6, 2021.

He appeared before magistrates in King's Lynn on Thursday (23).

The indictable only matter was sent to Norwich Crown Court for a hearing on July 21.

McDonald, formerly of Chestnut Avenue in Holbeach, and now living in Union Place, Wisbech, was granted unconditional bail to that date.
