Final call for entries for Fenland Citizen Business Awards 2025
The deadline for the third annual Fenland Citizen Business Awards is Friday, January 3 – so this really is the last chance to put your firm forward as a potential winner in 2025.
There are ten categories in the awards brought to you by Iliffe Media – publishers of the Fenland Citizen.
Over the past few weeks we have focused on eight of those categories and this week we take a look at Customer Care and Team of the Year.
Any company is sure to be proud to be the winner of either of these.
Jamie Coombs owner of March Fast Fit and Servicing in Creek Road, was certainly delighted when his business was awarded the Customer Care accolade last year.
He said at the time: “It's what we strive for, we try to do the best we can for the people we look after. More than other places, we listen to them, not just what they come in for.
“We talk about the day-to-day things and make sure they feel comfortable and welcome. That’s what it is all about.”
So if you think your firm has what it takes to be a winner like March Fast Fit and Servicing then now is the time to enter.
Last year the Team of the Year, which was sponsored by Nestle Purina, was awarded to Inkley Media Design and Print.
Wendy Smith from Nestle Purina said after choosing the Chatteris-based winner in 2024: “This was a particularly difficult category to judge. Each team deserves recognition for the part they play in the business they work within. But there has to be a winner.
“The winning team is fronted by a very young but passionate individual whose belief in having a happy workforce just shines through. The team feels valued and works as one, benefitting from the trust given to them and the continued success of the business.”
So again, if there’s a team in your firm worthy of recognition then now is the time to act.
Nominations are set to close at 5pm on January 3 .
The winners will be announced at a glittering evening on Friday, March 14, 2025 at March Braza Club in Elm Road - the perfect venue for these awards which are part of our commitment to supporting and celebrating local businesses.
This prestigious event brings decision-makers and business leaders together from across the area to celebrate business success and innovation.
The Fenland Citizen Business Awards showcase business achievements across ten categories, chosen to give businesses, individuals, and charities the chance to tell their success stories.
The headline sponsor of the Business Awards is once again the top accountancy firm Whitings LLP, with the event being organised by the Fenland Citizen.

Then it will be fingers crossed until the winners are announced at the live event on March 14.
