As a nation, we will be celebrating VE Day’s 80th anniversary on Thursday, May 8.

Victory in Europe Day is the day celebrating the formal acceptance by the Allies of World War II of Germany's unconditional surrender of its armed forces on Tuesday, May 8, 1945.

Towns across Fenland are making sure the momentous occasion is being marked, with parades, beacon lighting, food and more.
