Fire crews rushed to crash on Benwick Road in Doddington and released three casualties

Crews rushed to the scene of a crash where a car had gone off the road.

Appliances from Stanground and Chatteris attended the collision on Benwick Road in Doddington after receiving a call at 3.10pm on Thursday.

Firefighters arrived to find a car had left the road and gone into a field.

They released three people from the car and left them in the care of the ambulance service.

They returned to their stations just after 5pm.
