Fire crews from Wisbech tackle car in flames on Upwell Road in March

Firefighters rushed to put out a car blaze on a key road into town.

Crews from Wisbech were called to Upwell Road in March at 7.24pm on Friday.

Upon arriving on the scene, they discovered a car in flames, so they geared up in breathing apparatus and used hose reels to extinguish it.

They remained on the road until about 9pm.

The cause of the fire was said to have been accidental.
