Firefighters called to Whittlesey to extinguish out of control bonfire




Firefighters had to extinguish an out of control bonfire in a town.

The fire took place late yesterday morning on Peterborough Road in Whittlesey.

Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the blaze.

A crew from Stanground was called at 11.31am and left the scene at 12.20pm.

Crews say the cause of the fire was accidental.
