Person rescued from vehicle on A141 near Chatteris after crash between car and lorry

Firefighters rescued a person from a vehicle after a crash between a car and a lorry near Chatteris on Tuesday.

A crew from Chatteris and the north roaming fire engine were called to the collision on the A141 at 12.52pm.

Using specialist equipment, firefighters released the person and they were left in the care of ambulance crews.

Firefighters returned to their stations by 1.45pm.
