Firefighters tackle house blaze on Church End in Parson Drove

Firefighters tackled an accidental house blaze in a village late last night.

Crews from Wisbech and Ramsey were called to a house fire on Church End in Parson Drove at 8.51pm.

Wearing breathing apparatus, they used hose reels to extinguish the fire and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan.

The crews were at the scene until around 9.40pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
