Casualty treated for burns as firefighters tackle accidental blaze at house on Lake Court in Wisbech




Firefighters tackled an accidental house blaze in town in the early hours of this morning.

Crews from Wisbech, March and Norfolk were called at around 4am today to the fire on Lake Court in Wisbech.

Wearing breathing apparatus, they used hose reels, jets and small gear to tackle the fire.

All residents were out on arrival. One casualty was treated for burns at the scene.

The incident scaled down at around 6am, before concluding at around 7.45am. The area will be reinspected later in the day to check for any hotspots.
