Firefighters tackle blaze involving rubbish in refuse lorry on Churchill Road in Wisbech

Firefighters rushed to tackle a vehicle fire this morning.

Two fire crews from Wisbech were called at 8.55am to the blaze on Churchill Road.

They used hose reels to extinguish the fire involving rubbish in a refuse lorry.

The crews were at the scene until around 10am.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
