Firefighters tackled fire in Wisbech St Mary which had spread from hedgerow to straw




Firefighters rushed to a blaze that had spread in a village.

Crews from Wisbech were sent to a fire in the open on Galls Drove in Wisbech St Mary at 6.19pm on Friday.

Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the flames, which involved a hedgerow that had spread to straw.

They were at the scene until around 7.20pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
