Sentencing of former March policeman over indecent images adjourned until January




UPDATE: The sentencing of Phillip Richardson, now known as John Nicholls, has been adjourned until January 21.

PREVIOUSLY: A former March police officer who pleaded guilty to indecent image offences will be sentenced this afternoon (Friday).

Phillip Richardson (49) – now known as John Nicholls – appeared at Luton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, November 21 and admitted three counts of making an indecent photograph/pseudo-photograph of a child and two counts of distributing an indecent photograph/pseudo-photograph of a child.

Richardson was arrested in May and dismissed by the force on July 3.

He was remanded into custody will appear at St Albans Crown Court today (Friday) for sentencing.
