Free party will celebrate Chatteris store's first anniversary and will include a petting zoo

Jack’s, on Fenland Way, Chatteris, is holding a family fun day in store on Saturday (26), as a thank you to more than 350,000 customers who have supported the store during its first year of trading.

Running from 11am until 2pm, there will be lots on offer for families to enjoy including face painting, sweet treats, and even a balloon modeller who will be on hand to mould some Halloween-themed spooky creations.

There will also be a petting zoo on site, where children can get up close and personal with some amazing creatures, and learn more about the wildlife around them.

In addition to the fun day, Jack's will be giving away £50 worth of vouchers to spend in store to eight lucky winners over the next few weeks, via a Golden Ticket competition. To enter customers can fill in a form in-store, with two winners being chosen at random every week until November 10.

Wayne Moore, store manager at Jack’s Chatteris, said: “We’ve welcomed thousands of customers through our doors over the past 12 months.

“We’re really grateful for the way the community of Chatteris has supported Jack’s so we wanted to take the opportunity to lay on a little celebration and say thank you. We hope everyone is able to join us for a fun filled day of celebrations.”

All activities at the Jack’s first birthday party are free for all the family
