Friends organise search for Wisbech missing dad Arvydas Petrauskas
Worried friends and family of missing Wisbech father Arvydas Petrauskas are appealing for people to help search for him.
A search is being organised this Saturday with volunteers being asked to assemble at the corner of Horseshoe Terrace, which is off Peatlings Lane/West Parade.
Organisers are asking people to assemble from 9am with the aim of walking along the riverbanks in the hope of finding signs of Mr Petrauskas, who was last seen at his home in Malvern Gardens, on Friday, March 21, at 7.20am.
The 31-year-old is described as white, 6ft tall, with dark hair. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a dark jacket.
Police have said they are growing increasingly concerned for him and have appealed for the community’s help.
A spokesperson said: “We would like to hear from anyone who may have seen Arvydas either before or after his last sighting. If you have information, please get in touch as a matter of urgency.”
Anyone with information should call the police on 999, quoting incident 112 of March 21.
Those joining Saturday’s search party have been asked to park away from the bend.
