Fenland's Family Fun Festival 2021 a big success

Kids and parents had a ball at Fenland's Family Fun Festival over the weekend.

There were a wide variety of fun activities for them to stick their teeth into, with the day taking place at Wisbech St Mary Sport and Community Centre.

Children had fun on a bouncy castle, with some fun entertainers too.

After helping to set up and run the funfair, organiser Ben Duncan said everything went well.

"We just wanted to get people out and about again," he said.

"There was a toy store, burger van and someone dressed up as a bumblebee.

"Everyone enjoyed themselves, and a very good turnout.

"It got the community spirit back up in order."

Mr Duncan says that while there haven't been any similar events organised just yet, there are sure to be some set up in the future.
