Gallery: Loads of fun as Spinney Adventure Playground in Wisbech celebrates National Play Day
Youngsters enjoyed four hours of free fun at the National Play Day event held at the Spinney Adventure Playground in Wisbech.
There were stalls, games, and lots of arts and crafts for the youngsters to enjoy.
On top of all that, there was live music from local singers Ash Gower, and Mariamaysings, face painting, an inflatable assault course to be tackled, and some boxing fun.
Stalls included a tuck shop, as well as a tombola and there were refreshments on offer too including hot dogs.
Children also got to try out their circus skills too.
There were also some special visitors including members of Paw Patrol and the mayor of Wisbech, as well as county council councillors Bryony Goodliffe and Elisa Meschini.
Commenting on the play area’s Facebook page after the event, organisers said: “As you all know Wisbech Adventure Playground The Spinney hosted National Playday today, and with the help of all you lovely people we have raised £955 for our Friends of Fund.
“This can now help us to host many more events and activities throughout the year for the children and young people that use the playground.”
They added: “A great big call out to all the stall holders who supported us, and to all the families, friends, and young people who made the day great, we couldn't have done it without your support.”
