Gallery: RATz - it's a sell out - Shrek the Musical hits the Fenland stage
A giant green ogre is set to invade a Fenland Theatre this weekend when the RATz Theatre Company bring their latest offering to the stage.
Shrek the Musical will be playing to sell-out audiences when the curtain goes up this Friday (15) and has guaranteed to bring fun for all the family at The Angles Theatre during its week long run, which ends on Saturday (23).
All the beloved characters people know from the film have been brought to life on stage.
The show is largely based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks animation film, the Tony Award-winning fairy tale adventure but also features new songs from Jeanine Tesori (Thoroughly Modern Millie; Caroline, or Change) and a sidesplitting book by David Lindsay-Abaire.
Sadly for those of us who failed to book tickets in advance, there is only one ticket left and it is for tomorrow's (Friday) opening performance, otherwise the show is completely sold out.
However, Citizen photographer Adam Fairbrother went along to the dress rehearsal this week to give those without tickets a glimpse of the fun in store for all the many ticket holders.
