Gallery: Record crowds for WisBEACH Rock Festival as seventies legends Shawaddywaddy headline
Huge record breaking crowds packed Wisbech Town Park to rock the afternoon away as the annual WisBeach Rock Festival returned.
Headlining acts had people making their minds up to have a good time as Bucks Fizz, Wild Boys and Shawaddywaddy took to the main stage.
Others performing on the main stage at the event organised by Wisbech Town Council was Orbital Junction, Redemption, Lounge Lizzards and the CoPolice.
While the local stage welcomed a host of home grown musical talent including: Roy McManus, 2 Cats N'Payne, Connor White, Joe Tierney and Old Boy of the Fens.
As well as the music there was plenty of fun to be had elsewhere away from the stages with a beach area for children to build sandcastles and enjoy donkey rides.
There were also fair rides, stalls, a train ride and African-themed activities.
For those with a more literary bent new this year as a poetry corner with local poets reading their works including the current Fenland Poet Laureate, Kim Allen.
The Fringe event was organised by Elisabeth Sennitt-Clough who is set to judge this year's Fenland Poet Laureate competition which closes in September.
She said: "I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who helped or took part in the Poetry Fringe event at WisBeach Rock Festival."
