Gallery: Sports day fun at Manea Royal British Legion Club
Competitors of all ages lined up for some racing fun yesterday (Sunday) as Manea Royal British Legion Club hosted a family sports day.
The event, which was organised by the club's committee, was compered by Tony Cliss and saw participants compete in a variety of races from straight forward sprints to egg and spoon race and a bean bag relay.
It was the latest in a number of events being held to showcase the club and to make better use of the facilities which have been updated in recent years including a new bar and toilets.
The event, which was totally free, also included bouncy castles for the youngsters, and disco provided by Rude Boy and every competitor received a medal with prizes going out to the first, second and third places.
Organisers were delighted with the turn out and everyone agreed it had been a fun and worthwhile afternoon enjoyed by the many families who went along.
