Gallery: Tea and trains order of the day at Friends of March Railway Station Open Day
Tea, cake and trains were all part of an open day organised by the Friends of March Railway Station.
The event attracted hundreds of people who were not only able to enjoy a slice of cake but to see behind the scenes at the station.
Members of the friends were on hand to talk about the work the group does.
There were stalls and also a chance to see the model railway lay-outs the group has created.
These included the new 00 Gauge King's Lynn and Downham Market layout based on the two Norfolk stations.
Other layouts included Denbirt East with an exhibition outlining the story behind it. There was also displays entitled Wickham, Wymill and Nene Sidings.
The event on Saturday was the first the friends have held since the pandemic and they were delighted with the turn out.
