Gallery: Wisbech Lions throw Jubilee party for local community
Wisbech Lions laid on a party complete with buffet tea and entertainment for people in the local community on Wednesday to mark the Royal Jubilee.
Held at the Oasis Centre the event was attended by around 60 invited people from the local area.
Marilyn Batrick, one of those involved in helping with the party, said: "We organised the party after the Oasis Centre said they were planning an event and we offered to provide the food and entertainment as one of our community projects.
"Members baked cakes and made sandwiches and the Lions also arranged for 'Singing Gardener' Amanda Scott to provide the entertainment.
"Everyone had a great afternoon, Lions members helped serve the food and ensure everyone enjoyed themselves."
