Gallery: Wisbech town glows as annual Christmas lights switch-on draws the crowds
A polar bear and an ice dragon were among the many attractions on offer as the annual Christmas Lights Switch-on extravaganza returned to Wisbech on Sunday.
The animatronic animals were all part of the fun on the Market Place as Gladys Christmas and local radio start Jonny Dee hosted the event which saw town mayor Andrew Lynn flick the switch to turn on the array of lights - including lighting up the two Christmas trees.
The freezing temperatures failed to put people off attending the event, which also included Father Chrismas who was there to chat to the children and take those present wishes, and there were also alpacas for people to meet.
Entertainment came from a host of local performers including Nine Lives Theatre Company, Aaron Bolton, Elm Road School Choir, Laura Jayne Shippey's dancers and more.
And there was a big screen showing all the action.
Fun fair rides and stalls all added to the festive spirit at the event.
