Peckover House and Gardens in Wisbech extends visiting hours for summer dates

Visitors can enjoy a golden hour evening treat as a National Trust garden pushes back its closing time for a number of summer dates.

Peckover House and Garden, in Wisbech, will be staying open until 7pm on June 21 and 22, July 26 and 27, August 9 and 10, and September 13 and 14.

Those paying a visit are being encouraged to take a walk around the grounds and bring a picnic or a book during the warmer, sunnier evenings.

The gardens are free for National Trust members, and admission charges start from £5 for others.
