General Election 2019: The result for North East Cambridgeshire sees Conservative's increase their majority.




There were loud cheers as Brexit Secretary Steve Barclay was returned as MP for North East Cambs for a fourth time at the Hudson Leisure Centre in Wisbech at 4.15am.

And he saw his majority increase by over 4,000 on the result two years ago.

The full result: Steve Barclay, Conservative 38,423; Diane Boyd, Labour 8,430; Ruth Johnson, the Green Party 1,813; Rupert Moss-Eccardt, Liberal Democrat, 4,298.
