Green fingered gardeners impress judges in Wisbech competition

Judges in a garden competition organised by the Facebook page Wisbech Community Chest were so impressed by entries they found it difficult to choose a winner.

There were dozens of lovely entries for both the adults and children’s categories. The page’s five admins narrowed down the entries and then asked an independent judge to pick a winner, but the entries from Anthony Phoenix and Charlie Rose were impossible to separate and both so good they were declared joint winners.

Nicolas Landolina was the winner in the children’s category.

They all won gift vouchers donated by the admins.
