Hare coursers swim for it after being marooned at Welney

Two car loads of hare coursers found themselves the latest victims of the flooded Welney Wash Road today (Tuesday).

Posting on their Facebook page Fenland police said: "Two car loads of hare coursers had a long squelch home after trying to drive through the flooded Welney Wash Road.

"Seven men with dogs reported swimming from the area."
