Hats competition was main event at Wisbech Mothers' Union's Jubilee party

Members of the Wisbech and North Nene Branch of the Mothers' Union got in the party spirit at their most recent meeting.

They held a Platinum Jubilee Party with more than 30 members attending on Friday (3) and enjoying an afternoon tea prepared by some of the members themselves.

Part of the afternoon's festivities was a decorated hat competition with those in attendance voting for the winner, with Maureen Norgate's creation securing the most votes.

Table quizzes were also enjoyed as part of the celebrations.
