Have your say on Doddington plans
Doddington residents will be able to have their say on the future development of their village.
A four-week consultation has been launched on Doddington Parish Council’s application to become a neighbourhood area.
If the application is approved by Fenland District Council, this is the first step towards creating a neighbourhood plan, which establishes planning policies for the area.
This current consultation concentrates on the boundary of where a future neighbourhood plan can be prepared for. The parish council is suggesting the whole of the parish area should form the boundary.
A copy of the neighbourhood area application is available to view at ww.fenland.gov.uk/neighbourhood-planning
Details of the application and a map of the proposed boundary are also being displayed on the parish noticeboard,Chatteris Community Hub, Fenland@ your service shop in March.
Comments can be emailed to neighbourhoodstrategy@fenland.gov.uk or posted to Fenland Hall by 11.59pm on March 31.
