Chatteris-based hedgehog charity is looking for helping hands
Do you want to make a difference to our wildlife and have two hours to spare a week then an animal charity would like to hear from you.
Heather’s Hedgehog Hostel in Chatteris is looking for willing hands to help take care of its prickly residents in need.
The hostel, which is located at 129 High Street, looks after sickly and displayed hedgehogs.
It is looking for people aged over 18, who have a sense of humour and would like to get involved in charity work.
The skills learned while working with the charity will also help those without work experience to gain some along with a reference to help with future employment.
Those willing to help need to be available for at least two hours a week between 8am and 8pm daily.
If you would like to get involved then either contact 0782751083 or email hedgehoghostel@gmail.com
If you need help or advice for small wildlife, especially hedgehogs, please get in touch via the contact information above.
Meanwhile, the hostel has an Amazon wishlist if you would like to help provide much needed equipment from suitable accommodation to feeding kits, special shampoos, food and even things as basic as washing up liquid, stamps and bin bags.
