Arthur Rank Hospice in Wisbech wants to hear your views on end-of-life care
A Wisbech hospice which provides end-of-life care to residents is inviting members of the public to an event where they are hoping to hear their thoughts and experiences.
The Arthur Rank Hospice Charity is holding a community voices session, where they want to hear from others regarding care for life-limiting conditions and at the end-of-life.
The hospice says members of the public’s voices are “valued and much needed”.
The Cambridgeshire charity, which has a branch in Wisbech, recognises that the area has a diverse population, and its care is not as accessible to some communities.
The Arthur Rank Hospice Charity wants to explore the barriers and needs of those who are underrepresented in conversations about end-of-life care. They are inviting your invaluable perspective, rooted in your community, faith, and heritage.
Carly Wills, matron of clinical services, said: “We want to hear from you about what matters most at the end of life, both for yourself and for your loved ones.
“During our sessions, you'll have the opportunity to share your thoughts with our teams across Arthur Rank Hospice Charity.
“We're here to listen, to learn, and to understand how we can provide better care and support that reflects the needs and values of your community.”
An event is being held at the Rosmini Centre in Wisbech on Wednesday, June 12 from 1-3pm.
To book your free place at the event please see visit the hospice’s webpage.
