Hotel scoops top tourism award
A Wisbech hotel is celebrating after scooping a travel website’s prestigious tourism award for the third year in a row.
The Rose and Crown Hotel in the Market Place has once again been awarded the TripAdvisor Certificare of Excellence 2015, after winning the title in 2014 and 2013.
The certificate is awarded to the top ten per cent of businesses which receive consistently “outstanding” traveller reviews on the website.
Owners James and Rosemary Farrelly, who refurbished the hotel back to its former glory after buying it in 2011, said it was “great achievement for Wisbech to have a hotel of this standard”.
In addition to winning the Certificate of Excellence for three consecutive years, the hotel has also been awarded the Booking.com ‘Award of Excellence’ and Laterooms.com ‘Simply the Guest 2015 Top Rated’.
TripAdvisor says its Certificate of Excellence winners include accommodations, eateries and attractions located all over the world that have “continually delivered a superior customer experience”.
