CORONAVIRUS: March reader says, 'Will elderly manage?'

If the coronavirus situation develops as it has in Italy then a ‘lockdown’ seems inevitable.

I’m sure we’re all wondering – if not scared – by how health services and support organisations are going to cope.

What about the elderly who may be self-isolated? Will they cope without the help they need daily?
